What a busy day ~

Today we had to get an apostille for Yoshi's papers. So we headed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Japan. Soon we have all papers complete...the final step will be the translation into German from a translation agency.

The weather was really beautiful today. Sadly there are no cherry blossoms yet...just some trees are blooming. We really hope we can do some Hanami next week.
We walked around the Chiyoda Park and got a little feeling of spring...it was the first day this year where I walked around without jacket...just love

Since Ginza is really close to the park, we decided to eat dinner over there. And then...the sweet devil seduced us... XD
In the big department store Mitsukoshi you get the best roll cake in whole Tokyo...and since I have never eaten it, but Yoshi is a great fan, we headed to the store and got one. Check it out ~ the wonderful Dojima Roll ~

And no, not only the cake...also the Ciappucino Whoopie Pies. Some of my followers may remember my entry from last year's December (or was it November??)...I'm totally in love with the stuff. Sometimes they have a small booth in Shibuya. I didn't know that they were already in Ginza...it seems the little tasty ones are getting famous.

They have already a webpage: http://ciapshop.jp/

And last but not least~~

Thanks a lot for so many followers!
I just want to say something, since it's on my mind for a while now:
I'm really happy about every comment. Sadly I'm really busy and rarely find enough time to answer all comments, but I just want to say that I try to read all of them and that I'm happy to see people with the same passion for Japan.
This blog was created for my Japanese friends who are now living&working abroad. I had wonderful homestays in various parts in Japan while I was 17~18 and even though we can't meet that often these days, it's nice to see how the others are doing through their blogs. I've met great people from all around the world and even though years have passed, we are connected and everytime we meet up we still know what's going on.
Another reason why I decided to create this blog two years ago were my German family&friends, who don't have a Facebook account or the computer knowledge to deal with things like Ameba&Co. I want to give them a little insight, share my photos and give them the feeling that I'm not toally far away.
I didn't expect that many people will follow me, since I rarely (never?! XD) post about fashion&the Japanese pop culture...but on the other hand I'm really happy about the result. After 3/11 I think it's important to show that not everything is negative and covered with shadows from the catastrophe which has happened one year ago. When I was 16 and had the big dream to go to Japan I was a follower of a wonderful blog of a girl living in Kyoto and got a lot of motivation to improve my grades in high school&try everything to make my plans reality.
I post mostly photos because I don't use this blog as diary (you won't find drama here XD) ...it's just something I want to share with my friends. I like taking photos&I'm really thinking to get myself a professional camera at my birthday. More photos...yeah ~ hehehe.
That's the reason why I want to keep my address&other details about my life private ~ hope you understand this :)
Thanks again ~

I swear, I love my bed... XD
When I get home from work, the best thing is taking a shower&relaxing in my comfy bed...

Tomorrow spring school starts. Today we have decorated the class rooms, which was pretty nice.
I just hope the weather will be warmer from next week...this year's winter is really cold.

On Monday Yoshi&I headed to Ginza to order our wedding rings. We wanted to get simple ones since we both will wear them at work. We were lucky and got the rings we have seen online before.
Afterwards we had to hurry to arrive at the wedding planer in Hotel Nikko in Odaiba in time...
We checked out the various rooms for weddings and also peeked into the wedding dresses area...I was simply blown away. So many beautiful dresses...
We totally fell in love with the wedding chapel.
Now we just need to think about the timing and also the financial stuff. But one thing is already 100% clear: We really want to set our wedding in Odaiba.
Getting married at the same place where we have started dating years ago...sounds like a movie XD   So we simply have to do it.

After the whole wedding stuff it was already really late and we were starving...we ended up in a great restaurant called King of Pirates ... we both love Pirates of the Caribbean and so we had a good time. It's a little bit expensive, but if you like stuff like this...just give this place a try!

Yoshi&I got two really sweet neck chains in pocket watch design at a small shop in Yokohama last week...

Alright, need to get some sleep~~~

(Und an die liebe G. ~~ danke für die Karte!!!! ^^)

 Yahoo ~~

My parents are on their way back home to Germany. We all had a great time and they really enjoyed their stay here in Japan. I can't wait until they will visit again ~ we already made some plans.
Since we have already visited Nikko (for some photos you can check out the last post ^^), next time we want to visit Kamakura and the Fuji area.

Anyway, yesterday I had to work until 3pm...my parents and Yoshi were already waiting for me when I finally arrived in Futako. We decided to visit Yokohama since the weather was really beautiful.
It was a fantastic last day together, with a wonderful dinner and also a nice round of Purikura.

Next week will be busy...my school has spring school and still need to prepare some stuff for the classes. And on Monday we will check out the wedding rings&our dream wedding location in Odaiba...I just wonder if we can afford it XD  Anyway, we will see...
I'm so looking forward to cherry blossoms season...I think in the next two weeks everything will be pink :)  Wish you guys a nice start into spring ;)

A late update, but these days time passes by so fast...

At first, I got really sick last week. My fever went up to 39 degrees and I felt so tired...no medicine from the drug store was able to fight against my cold. My tonsilis were swollen and I couldn't eat for three days...which made everything much worse. Yoshi brought me to the hospital on Monday, where the doctor decided to put me on a drip for one hour. It was my first time in a hospital...I'm a person who rarely gets sick and so it was a pretty big shock. But just two hours after the drip I felt so much better. I wasn't allowed to go to work for two days, but on Tuesday I could finally walk around.
Happily I got fit again very fast&so I was able to spend some time with my parents, who arrived in Tokyo last week.

We have visited various places in the city and we also made a big trip to Nikko (snowy, cold...but great!) . We all had a wonderful time. Sadly they will already leave on Thursday, which means tomorrow will be the last day. We will go to Yokohama ~ one of my favourite places here in Japan.

Living far away from each other is sometimes hard and stressful, but on the other hand you learn to cherish moments with your family.

Yoshi's mother got Peko a cute spring jacket :)

Guys and beer...well, yeah XD

My White Day gift...a bread machine!! Much love!!

And then Nikko...

Famous monkeys ^^

...so cute XD
Udon ~ 800 Yen
Trip to Nikko ~ 45.000Yen
Seeing how my father fights with chopsticks ~ Priceless ;)

Spiderman...eh...Yoshi in the hotel room...

...

After Onsen...chillout  ~~

And the best of it...our Kimono shooting. Even though it was expensive, it was totally worth it!
Our wedding dresses will be in Western style...so I really wanted to take at least photos in Kimono style ~
