|Wanna join... (;_;)|
What a rainy weekend ._.
In about one week my parents will come to Tokyo. Time has passed by so fast! Can't believe it...
Yoshi's cousin is marrying today and so he went to Kouchi last night. I was invited too but since I have work tomorrow and on Wednesday I couldn't join...so here I am ~~ killing time with cookies and horror movies XD
I have never attended a Japanese wedding...some of my friends are already married but they had their party when I was back in Germany because of some university exams or celebrated abroad.
I hope I will get the chance to attend one someday soon, although I know that it's mostly a boring, plain sit-around...no dancing, no "real" celebration...just looking pretty in a dress and listening to the speech of the other guests which you don't know...
That's also one reason why Yoshi and I want to have a small, pretty, but a little bit more "relaxed" wedding...I don't want to hear the speech of my boss or spend the day with "friends" who I rarely meet in private. Not very social, huh? Hehe...
Anyway, I got some questions regarding my own wedding.
Well, we are already preparing the paper stuff (another reason why Yoshi is back in Kouchi right now). It's pretty expensive and takes a lot of time until all things will be finished...we still haven't set a date, but we already have checked some locations and also dresses. I won't buy one, since all my favourites are simply too expensive. I will save the money and rent the dress of my dreams ~
Most Japanese weddings are around 20.000$~100.000$. Many banks even offer a loan for "the special day". You have to invite many people from your business life, sometimes the bride changes dresses for three times that day like a fashion show, there will always be a professional stylist and also a photo shooting, together with a huge dinner...Japanese people love wedding parties. For me it's a little bit stiff and cold...
All in all, a wedding is a social event. For us, a wedding is thing between us. And since we both have many plans, we prefer spending the money for a beautiful house&a nice honeymoon.
Happily you are able to get a pretty wedding for around 10.000$ if you limit the people you invite. So we will have a party with about 15~20 people, close friends&family only. A nice ceremony, a little buffet&a photo shooting. And at night we are thinking to rent a VIP space in a club and go clubbing with our friends. Just because it's no real wedding without dancing XD
And now back to horror movies...when my family is here, I will make many trips around Tokyo and take tons of photos, so starting from next week you will get to see some culture ~
And L.! Thanks for your letter ~ love it!!
See you soon ~ ;)
